Train Like a Dragon Boater

Questions

Do I need to be fit?

No. The challenge is designed for a range of fitness levels, with different options and adaptations provided.

Do I need special equipment?

Most challenges can be completed using bodyweight or common household items. Where equipment is suggested, an equipment-free alternative will be provided.

Can I take part with an injury or health condition?

Many exercises can be adapted, but individual circumstances differ. Please consult an appropriate healthcare professional if you are unsure whether the challenge is suitable for you.

Can men participate?

Yes. The campaign celebrates women’s health and supports a women’s breast cancer survivor community, but everyone who wants to move, show their support and make a difference is welcome.

Can I enter as part of a team?

Absolutely. You can participate individually or join with friends, whānau, colleagues, a gym or community group. Teams need at least 3 people to appear on the team leaderboard.

What if I miss a day?

No problem. You can catch up on any challenge until the end of the event.

Is there a minimum age?

Participants need to be 12 or older. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian’s permission to take part.

Where does my registration fee go?

Registration income supports CanSurvive’s club activities and the costs involved in keeping breast cancer survivors and supporters training, paddling and competing.
